Booking a car for a stranger is not recommended by Drizy for the following reasons:
- You don't know the person and their intentions.
- Strangers can commit crimes on the go with the ride you book and endanger the driver partner.
- You are responsible for anything that happens during the trip since booking. Your account may be suspended or banned. You may also be asked to cooperate with authorities in investigations.
What should I do when a stranger asks me to book a car for them?
You can politely decline the request. You can help strangers download the Drizy app, sign up for an account, and book a ride for them using their own account.
How do I cancel a trip I booked for a stranger?
- Open the Drizy app and click Activities to open the ride you booked.
- When you are on the trip screen.
- Tap Cancel.
- Select a reason for cancellation and confirm.
